Alternative Futures Group, Liverpool

TJM Projects were appointed to deliver a full design and build package for Alternative Futures Group (AFG), a health and social care charity that has been empowering individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions for over 30 years.

Working to a defined budget, our goal was to transform an empty shell unit into a welcoming, functional workspace that reflected AFG’s values of care, community, and empowerment.

Scope of Works

Our turnkey solution included:

• Concept design and space planning
• Installation of a bespoke reception desk
• Feature booth seating for breakout and collaborative spaces
• Full electrical and lighting installation
• Mechanical ventilation system
• New kitchen facility
• Complete furniture installation in collaboration with Blakes Workspace

Every element was carefully considered to ensure the final environment supported both staff wellbeing and operational efficiency.

This project is a testament to the value of early contractor engagement. Working closely with AFG from the outset allowed us to fully understand their needs and design a solution that was both cost-effective and impactful.
