New Main Entrance & Reception Extension

This standout education project saw TJM Projects deliver a full new main entrance and double-height reception area for St Michael’s Academy, transforming the arrival experience for students, staff, and visitors.

• Scope: Demolition of existing façades, full groundworks, designed foundations, and structural steelwork
• Feature Build: Full-height glazed curtain walling and bespoke internal finishes
• Programme: Delivered both in and out of term time to minimise disruption

Working within a live school environment brought its own complexities: strict segregation zones, controlled access routes, and challenging winter ground conditions. Through careful planning and close coordination with the Academy, the project was completed on time and on budget.
