Aspire Lounge, Manchester Airport

TJM Projects delivered the £2.8 million fit-out of the new Aspire Lounge at Manchester Airport Terminal 2, transforming a shell-and-core unit into a sophisticated premium passenger environment.

Completed over a demanding 20-week programme within a live international airport, the project created distinct areas for dining, relaxation and work, supported by extensive food and beverage facilities.

The works included specialist ceilings and finishes, structural and fire-rated construction, upgraded WC facilities, flooring, mechanical and electrical coordination, and alterations to the entrance and fire-escape arrangements.

An extensive bespoke joinery package formed a defining part of the scheme. TJM manufactured and installed curved banquette seating, feature booths, servery counters, the main bar and back bar, three coffee stations, work pods, reception furniture and decorative entrance features.

Carefully integrated lighting, premium materials and consistent detailing bring the different areas together, creating a warm, refined and cohesive interior.

Delivered around strict security, access and logistical requirements, the project showcases TJM’s construction management, contractor-design and bespoke joinery capabilities within a complex operational environment.
